Filming process

Whilst filming our documentary we again a lot of experience and was put in different situations. As a group we had to plan our time effectively to be certain that we would be able to film as a group. The days in which we planned to film on, we ensured that we had planned the days' events as we wanted to be sure are time was sure productively and not wasted. As a group we decided that mornings would be more suitable to have interviews with shops but before we did this we ensured that we had permission off the store manager and arrived early to make sure that we didn't interrupt the rush hours. After recording our interviews and cutaway shots in the morning, we would then start our vox pops as it was more busier and we would get a better response. Within the filming process I felt more comfortable asking the public to do vox pops therefore I asked the majority
of the people who we targeted.
As a group we all took it in turns to do there share of work. I asked for the vox pop's while Natalie filmed them and Sasha told them what to say. I also arranged and interviewed Sadie on my own; in which I had to impervised with mise-en-scene with shoes displayed on a bed frame. Furthermore I asked a few shops wether it was ok, to film in their shop.
While filming we didn't have the equiement in which professionals would uses so therefore we had to impervise. With this we had to create a tracking establishing shot, in which we used the escalators and we also had to drive a car. This allowed use to think logical in quick amounts of time. Overall I think that the filming process was fun as we experinced it as a group in which we have become close.
These are pictures of us filming.
